As we think ahead to the Christmas season, it is good to have some time top prepare. Before getting into the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, it is good to take some time to prepare for it. December brings so many good things but it also brings a lot of stresses. Having a plan ahead of time can help alleviate some of the stresses.
Sit down with your family and come up with a plan.
What do you want to do this Christmas? Make a list of the ideas. If you need to limit it some, have everyone share one idea. The important thing is to make sure it is something you want to do not something you feel you should do or have to do.
Use a calendar and write out every thing that you have to do during the month. As you add in the the other things you want to do, see where there is white space.
Write it all out. Sometimes just writing out everything that is flying around in my mind is a huge help. Once it is on paper you can separate it into sections to focus on.
Every month, I share my monthly goals. This month, I am taking a break as we are in the beginning of a series. But if you have shared your goals, I would love for you to join Callie, Christina, Emily, and I for With Grit and Grace where we focus on supporting each other as we work towards our goals!
Please join us on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00am EST to share your goals and progress for the week, month, or year. We are all about building a positive community; please remember to read, comment, and share the posts of others- and let them know you found them at With Grace & Grit.
