For the month of October I am joining in with Write 31 Days. I will be focusing on 31 Days of an Intentional Christmas. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. It is so fun creating memories during this season and I love hearing what other people do to make it meaningful.
If you are anything like me, you love the idea of an intentional Christmas but somehow the plans never come to fruition.
Do you get excited for Christmas with all sorts of plans to be intentional and then half way through the month end up tired and worn down? I most definitely have. For so many Christmas seasons I would have many plans and end up frustrated.
The problem was I thought being intentional meant I had to do all the things- homemade cookies, decorating the perfect tree, making adorable presents for the teachers, volunteering for everything, doing every possible activity under the sun.
Instead, being intentional is doing less with purpose.
Over the course of the month we will be digging more into this idea and covering the following main areas:
* Preparing + Planning
* Being Intentional as a Family
* Being Intentional in Our Communities
* Being Intentional in Our Homes

Christmas can be such a beautiful season, but it can also be a hectic and stressful time. As we move through this series, I hope you will find ideas and encouragement to rest and find your unique family’s rhythm to Christmas.
