Tips to Help You Make the Time for Cleaning
Plan it out ahead of time.
We realize you may not be able to do one cleaning task a day. What has worked well for me has been to look at my calendar for the week every Sunday. Then I plan out the tasks for the week. Some weeks, I may do 3 tasks in one day and skip a couple of days. Taking time to pre-plan out when I will do what helps me make it happen!
Listen to a podcast while you clean.
Having a podcast to listen to helps me enjoy the cleaning process and I feel like I clean quicker. Check out some favorite podcasts.
Use the small chunks of time.
We all have small chunks of time in our days that get wasted. You can easily do a quick task in one of those small chunks.
Let go of perfect.
Your spring cleaning does not need to be perfect. Aim to finish the job instead of aiming for perfection.
