(1) Game Night
(2) Family Walks
While this one is weather dependant, it can be a fun way to connect as a family. Hop on bikes or simply walk together. Even in the cool fall days, you can enjoy walking through your neighborhood or a local park together.
(3) Camp Out
While you can camp outside in your yard, another fun idea is to camp out in the family room together! Our kids love doing this and it always brings many fun memories. Make beds on the floor and camp out together.
4) Get Silly
Kids love to play! Think about fun ways that you can have fun playing with your kids. Nerf gun battles are always fun and can be done all year long! Planning a night to battle each other or even just play with your child and their favorite toy, is important!
5) Movie Night
Having a family movie night is a great way to spend time together! Snuggle up on the couch and enjoy some popcorn while you watch the movie!
6) Dance Party
Turn on some family dance music and have fun dancing together. This is a great after dinnertime activity because kids usually have tons of energy!
Are you ready for some family fun? Remember, with each of these ideas you are not striving for the perfect night but for quality time. There will be spilled snacks or arguing siblings, it happens.
