Whenever we are on a camping trip, we love to go on hikes, binoculars in hand. My husband loves to look for birds and the kids have wanted to be just like him. While they do have toy binoculars to use, we thought it would be fun to make our own binoculars.
Easy Binoculars Craft for Kids
These were a hit! The binoculars were so easy and used supplies we already had in our home. Even if you do not think that you are crafty, you will be able to pull off this craft! Always remember that you can make crafts more involved or less involved. For example, we decided to paint the binoculars. However, if you do not want to get the paint out, use crayons or markers!
Once we made our binoculars, we had a lot of fun exploring our backyard. We pretended to go camping and to search for new birds and bugs. It is amazing how one simple craft can create an endless supply of imaginitive play. I love it when crafts extend beyond the table and are able to be used as a fun tool for play.
Today, I am over at The Littles and Me sharing all about how to make the binoculars.
