Yay for Friday + three things I’m loving! 💐
1) Prayer Box- I saw this idea from @dearmushka and LOVED it! I’ll share more in stories but it has been a great way for me to focus on prayer.
2) House Plants- What is there to say other than I love them 🪴
3) Zero Gravity Chair- As long as the weather is okay, I take 10-15 minutes to sit outside in this chair before afternoon carline. I set an alarm and usually take a quick nap. It’s been a great way for me to transition from working to pickup mode and have a moment of rest before the kids get home.

What are you looking forward to this season? Springtime can be a busy season with sports and school starting to wrap up. 💐There’s also the anticipation of summertime! We decided to write out a list of things we hope to do as a family or with friends this season. 👉🏽Then each Sunday, I’m going to look at the week ahead and see what we can make time for.

* Scrub Brush + Toothbrush
* Toilet Cleaner + Brush
* All Purpose Cleaner
* Tub/Shower Cleaner
* Glass Cleaner
* Baking Soda (use with water to make a paste around the toilet- boy moms this is a MUST do to clean all those accidents up 🤦🏻‍♀️)
* Helpers

Remember- spring cleaning doesn’t have to be an all or nothing. This season of your life may not give room for it- that’s okay. This season may give room for a little- that’s okay. This season may give room for a deep clean- that’s okay.

Be mindful of what season you are in and give yourself lots of grace. Plus make sure to enlist help!

What are you loving this week? 💐This week I have 3 fun things that I am loving.
1) Laundry Detergent from @dropps We have been on a mission to help Claire’s skin heal from ezcema. I am diligently using 2 different creams and have been using the unscented laundry pods and seeing a HUGE improvement!

2) Oxygen Boost from @branchbasics This got out some super tough stains from the kids’ shirts this week.

3) Lip Shimmer from @burtsbees Adds a little color and moisturizes.

Parenting involves A LOT of conversations. One con

Parenting involves A LOT of conversations. One conversation we frequently have is about unkind kids.

I don’t like that they have to come across unkind people but also know not everyone in life is nice. So this time can be used as training time to teach our kids how to handle unkind people.

1) Remind your kids that hurting people hurt people.
2) Talk about how we don’t know what is going on in the other child’s home life. This connects with the first tip 😉

Neither of these reminders excuse unkind behavior but it can help build compassion and empathy into our kids.

Obviously other tips but these are my top two- what would you add?
