Friday favorites of the week:
1) Dry Erase Magnetic Weekly Calendar- I love using this to give us a view of the week.

2) My Fall Wreath- I had so much fun making this with my mom, sister, and Claire. Now it just gives me joy each time I see it.

Do you struggle keeping track of your keys and fee

Do you struggle keeping track of your keys and feeling like the entryway can get a little cluttered? If so, you are not alone. Let’s simplify it:

1) Let go of the idea that it needs to be magazine perfect. Your home should be lived in. What works best for you may not look fancy, the point is that it works.

2) Decide what lives in the entryway. For us it is shoes/coats in the closet, bookbags, purse/hats on the hooks, and keys on the entryway basket.

3) Create landing zones. These zones are where certain items live. For example: the boys put their bookbags under the table and Claire hangs hers up.

Now it’s your turn to tackle your entryway. Remember- our homes do not need to be perfect, they need to have safe spaces for us to rest and refresh. Let go of the perfection 😉

1) Sticky Notes from @simplepurposefulliving ❤️ I love putting these in C’s lunch or even just put one in a random spot for your loved ones to find!
2) Pumpkin Sourdough Muffins from @farmhouseonboone ❤️ These are so delicious! The recipe was easy to follow and the muffins are so good. I loved that it gave us a little fall snack this week.

When organizing your home you have to do what works for YOU! Otherwise, the system is not going to last.

A general rule is to give items a place to live in your home so you know where they are and they are not cluttering up surfaces.

Kicking September off with a refocus on goals. I love how my Powersheets from @cultivatewhatmatters give me a visual reminder.

One thing that has helped me as been to put a reminder in my phone to look at the goals. Then I make a game plan. Otherwise it’s just a list with zero action.
