When you are ready to play take turns drawing out a card to act out. My youngest cannot read yet, so usually one of us helps her read it.
It is up to you if you want to allow the use of props. We do because it adds an extra element of fun. Our main rule is no talking.
Since we use this for family night, we usually do not worry about points and just have fun with it. However, you could easily break into two teams and give points for correct guesses.
