This Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt is a fun and easy Christmas activity for the whole family! Get the free printable to use!
Having a Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt adds so much extra fun to the traditional drive to look at Christmas lights. One of my favorite family activities throughout December is to take a nightly drive to look at lights. We love to turn on Christmas music and enjoy seeing all of the different light displays.
How to Have a Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt
First print off the printable.
Download the free printable here. You can decide if you want to give everyone a printable or if your family will share.
Decide if you will go on a drive or a walk.
Depending on the weather, you could take a Christmas lights walk and use the scavenger hunt. Otherwise, a drive is usually what we do and tons of fun! Consider bringing a clipboard to put the printable on.
End it with a prize or hot chocolate for all.
If you have older kids, it can be fun to turn this into a game and give a prize for the person with the most finds. However, if you have younger kids, this could turn into a mess. We love to end the night with hot chocolate and a Christmas movie.
