When I think back to my childhood, I have so many fond memories of cooking with my mom. It was where I learned so much in a hands on fashion. Naturally, this has transferred into a love for cooking with my own kids.
All mamas know that cooking with kids takes a lot of patience. My number one tip to cooking with kids is to embrace the mess. Just enter into the time knowing that things will get messy. Honestly, as much as I love the kids in the kitchen with me, there are times when I cringe at the thought of the mess and extra time it takes. But every time I say yes, it is always worth it.
Cooking with kids is the perfect way to carve out intentional moments as a family. It is one on our list for this Christmas season!
We love baking cookies together, because it usually involves some taste testing and is a favorite treat. One of our favorite go-to cookie recipes is a tasty M&M Holiday Cookie.
