Looking for a daily family devotional? Check out this simple option!
Having a daily family devotional is often something parents desire but it can be hard to find a good fit. For many of us, the days are busy and filled with different things. It is hard to find a devotional that can be used for different ages and we need to be mindful of our kids’ attention spans.
As I thought about these different needs for family devotionals, I decided to put together something very simple called Daily Bites!
Daily Bites: 25 Truths for Kids is a new resource available in the Intentional Moms Shop! The concept behind Daily Bites is that families will read one truth a day with their kids and then ask the discussion question. The daily truth is from the Bible and the question is a simple way to take it a little further. Depending on the age of your child, you can discuss the question in more depth.
This family devotional will have 10 series in it! The first series is on identity in Christ and you can find it here.
The rest of the series will be:
- October: 25 Truths for Worry
- November: 25 Truths for Gratitude
- December: 25 Truths for Christmas
- January: 25 Truths for Friendship
- February: 25 Truths on Love
- March: 25 Truths for Easter
- April: 25 Truths for Joy
- May: 25 Truths about God
- June: 25 Bible Truths
You have the option of purchasing the entire 10-month series for $20. You will receive an update with the new series at the beginning of each month.
How to Use the Family Devotional
Print off the cards and cut them out. If you have a laminator, you can use that for added protection.
I like to keep mine on a book hook so they are all together.
Go through one card a day! Read the Scripture to your kids or have one of your children read it. Then discuss the question. The beauty of it is that you can take it deeper if it is age-appropriate!
Having family devotions does not have to be hard and stressful. We can do small things each day that add up to something greater.
