At Food Lion, I picked up Coca-Cola products to have for drinks. I personally love regular Coca-Cola while my parents prefer Diet Coca-Cola. There is even Coca-Cola Zero Sugar that tastes just as good but without any sugar. Is there any other drink that unites all fans together? Most definitely not – it truly is the homegating must have drink. Then I pick up Food Lion brand tortilla chips, plain Greek yogurt, Ranch Dip Mix, celery, and carrots. Once I have all of my drinks and food, I head home ready to prepare the food!
On the Menu
- Ranch Dip & Veggies
- Chips & Creamy Salsa Dip
My family loves having veggies and dips and I am all about keeping things simple! You can make a great veggie dip with Greek yogurt and ranch dip mix! All you have to do is put the Greek yogurt into a bowl and then mix in the ranch dip mix. Super simple! Prepare the veggies and you are all set to go!
I also like to use the Greek yogurt to make an easy and unique dip for the tortilla chips!
Ingredients for Creamy Salsa Dip
- 1 cup salsa
- ¾ cup Greek yogurt
- 2-3 teaspoons taco seasoning
- Tortilla chips or Veggies
Directions for Creamy Salsa Dip
Put the salsa, Greek yogurt, and taco seasoning into a blender. Mix well and then place in bowl and refrigerate. This helps the flavors all mix well together! Serve with tortilla chips or veggies!
Once the food is ready, I prep the table. As a busy mom, I am all about simple!
I have a few tablecloths I keep on hand and like to use this black one for homegating parties. If you do not have a tablecloth look around your home for a blanket you could use. Using what you have helps save money and keeps it creative!
Banners are a favorite of mine, so I cut out the banner from the football planning pack and string it together. Then I cut out the additional pieces to use as added decor. I taped them to wooden sticks and stuck in a mason jar for a little fun decor touch. Right before the football homegating party begins, I set out the food so everything is nice and fresh. Everyone then can come together, grab their favorite Coca-Cola and some snacks and sit down to enjoy the game! Are you ready to set up your own football homegating party? Head to Food Lion, use your MVP Rewards Card, and have fun!
