Create a DIY nativity ornament with your kids this Christmas season.
A nativity ornament is a perfect craft for kids to do! One thing I love about this craft is that the kids get to be creative with it. With some prep work from you, they will have the perfect canvas to create on!
During the month of December, we can be very busy and it can be stressful. I love having simple crafts on hand for the kids to make. This activity is perfect for kids to do while you make dinner or work on a Christmas task.

Learn how to make the DIY Nativity Ornament
Gather your supplies:
- Craft Sticks
- Glue (I suggest a parent using hot glue)
- Yellow Construction Paper
- White Paper
- Glue Sticks
- Crayons
- String
Directions for the Nativity Ornament:
Have a parent prep the ornament by gluing together 4 craft sticks to create a stable (follow the picture below).
Pre-cut out stars from the yellow construction paper. Or you could use some star stickers.
Glue a white square behind the stable. You will want it to cover the entire open space of the stable.
Set out crayons, the stars, and glue sticks. Invite your kids to draw the nativity scene inside the stable!
When they are all finished, you can tie a string to the top so you can hang it from the tree!
