In case you are shopping for a dog of your own, we wanted to share a simple dog gift guide. Whenever we are at the store, my kids always want to go down the pet aisles and find a new toy for our dog, Rosie.
I never thought I would be a dog person, but I have to admit that our dog has grown on me. The first year was definitely full of it’s challenges. My husband often joked we should have just had a fourth baby instead. However, the addition of a dog to our family has been a good thing for all of us, especially the kids.
Here are some of our dog gift favorites:
We had a basic collar from a store on Rosie, which worked fine, but then I saw the dog collars from Zaley Designs. These dog collars are the cutest! Rosie has the plaid winter collar and it is just adorable. I cannot recommend these dog collars enough. There are tons of cute designs and it would be the perfect gift for your dog.
Our favorite bone for Rosie is the Nylabone. It lasts forever and is so helpful for those chewing puppy years!
This year we plan to get Rosie a dog bed. She loves finding a spot to lay and if we are all on the couch, she always wanders endlessly. I love the look of this dog bed.
Ready to play catch with your dog? Check out this great 3 pack of balls.
These kongs are great to have on hand for dogs and the perfect addition to the dog gift guide. My sister will give them to her dogs with peanut butter in them.
All dogs love a good game of tug of war. We love this rope tug for Rosie.
We plan to get Rosie a handful of these gifts. Her toys always get a little worn, or lost, after a while so this is the perfect time of the year to refresh her collection. What would you add to this list? Share in the comments below! I always love hearing about fun dog gift ideas to add to our list!
