Looking for a baby Jesus craft? Check out this great idea for kids!
Creating a baby Jesus craft has been on our bucket list as my daughter loves the nativity. Last year, we used some felt and she carried around “baby Jesus” everywhere. This year, we were playing with play dough and she immediately started creating a nativity out of the play dough.
From there, we started creating more things and the craft came together!
How to Make a Baby Jesus Craft
Gather up your supplies
Printable Baby Jesus (available for free in the Christmas Activity Pack)
Brown Lunch Bag
Soft yarn or cotton
Scissors
Once you download the Christmas Activity Pack, download the printable Baby Jesus.
Cut out the baby and you are ready for the next step.
Cut the brown lunch bag so 3/4 of it is cut off.
I basically left it so there was a little mini bag and cut off the top part. Then fold the sides of the bag down so you form a little manger. Add in some yarn or cotton to the manger. You could also use some straw.
The manger is all ready for Baby Jesus! My daughter likes to play pretend with her manger and baby Jesus. You could also use this for a game and hide Baby Jesus for your kids to find.
