We are several days into September with school and everything else in full gear! Which means it is time for the monthly Intentional Family Guides to return! After taking a break over the summer, I am so excited about the updated look the guides have.

As the days get busier with all the things, my heart gravitates towards carving out intentional famly time. I am learning what works best for our family and how to make the time count. If you are anything like me, sometimes you just need a guide to tell you what to focus on and give you some ideas.

Which is why I created the Intentional Family Guides. Every month a new one arrives in your inbox as a lovely PDF ready to be used. There is always a coloring sheet and additional printables depending on the month. Each month has a specific character trait to focus on because we love talking about these in our home.

The family guides are created to get you started in carving out intentional family time.

It does not have to be perfect or follow the same rhythm every time. You just have to start. Make the decision to choose your family and start moving forward together.

Connect as a family using this family guide. It is the perfect resource for families with free printables

I provide different ways for your family to connect over the month and you get to choose what activities you do! Trust me, they are all super simple because I am all about simplicity.

Remember, you do you! Know your family and your limits and fit in what works best.

This month the focus is on self control, and if your family is like mine I think you may be ready to tackle this one. Self control is something that we are working on at different levels with each of our kids. Learning self contorl  is a struggle at time, but it is something that is learned over time.

If you have not already recevied your guide in your email, make sure to sign up to get it below! You will also have access to the etnire printable library that holds old family guides and prtinables for the family and mama.

  1. I LOVE this! I am looking for new ways to include routine in our lives; I only have one darling 9 month old but I still think being intentional with our family time is important. Plus, I am all about collecting curriculum and helps for future homeschooling and teaching endeavors.

I love your site and plan to be back — so glad our Facebook connection brought you my way!

    • Thank you so much Frannie! Your words mean so much to me! You are so wise to be preparing for the future seasons! Being intentional starts now! Love your focus.

  2. Nice idea with printables. We have family home evening every monday night. Family time around the dinner table is a must and the weekends are especially Sunday is all about family.

  3. I’ve never heard of a family guide but this is an interesting concept. I think intentionality is so important in this day and age where there are so many competing priorities.
