Happy Friday! With the colder weather this past week, I have been listening to Christmas music and am very eager to decorate! The weather definitely is getting me into the holiday spirit, even if we are getting rain instead of snow. Anyway, here are some favorites from the week!
ONE | FAVORITE WAY TO ORGANIZE BATTERIES
My boys are constantly needing batteries for their Xbox controllers. We had a container that held all of the batteries but it often was a disaster and I never knew how many batteries we had left. I never could figure out what to do with the batteries until I found this amazing battery organizer!
We have been using it for about a month now and it has been a favorite in our home organization products. I love that you can mount it to the wall to save space and how easy it is to see how many batteries are left. Plus there is a battery tester! Check it out here.
TWO | FAVORITE PAIR OF GLASSES
I have worn glasses since 5th or 6th grade. My vision is not very good at all, so when I am not wearing my contacts glasses are necessary. Recently, I received a pair of prescription glasses from Glasses Shop in the mail. I am loving this pair! Use the code GSHOT30 to get 30% off your entire order! Shop here.
THREE | MASTER BEDROOM UPDATES
A current project in our home is our master bedroom. I have been slowly working on making the small master bedroom a cozy space. `One way to add to the cozy look has been updating the bedspread. I am loving this bedspread from Mellanni Linens. It is the perfect texture and is holding up so well! I also received a set of sheets from them. The sheets are very cozy.
FOUR | PREPARING FOR THE HOLIDAYS
We normally decorate for Christmas the week before Thanksgiving because we are either traveling for Thanksgiving or hosting my parents and celebrating both holidays. My plan is to start decorating next week and get the tree next weekend if they are here!
One way I prepare before we decorate is to do a few things to prepare our home so that I can actually relax and enjoy the holiday season. If you have ever been stressed out mama during the holiday season, you can relate! One of my favorite tools that helps me with this is the Holiday Ready Home Guide. This guide is just $10 and will set you up to thrive during the holidays. Go get your copy here!
FIVE | DISNEY +
Is it any surprise that this is my final favorite of the week?! We signed up for the trial and are going to be staying with it. My kids are loving the mix of shows and movies and I am loving the trip down memory lane with this! We recently canceled our cable and I think we are going to do the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN bundle.
SIX | THANKSGIVING
Even though I am all about jumping into Christmas mode, I am also all about Thanksgiving. If you haven’t checked out the November family activities, make sure to do so! Plus, you can grab the free Thanksgiving conversation cards!
Have an amazing weekend and share your favorites in the comments!
