I can’t believe it’s back to school time already! We haven’t made it to the beach yet this summer, so I’m praying the next few weekends are good weather wise.

I hope you get to! We may try to go this weekend although my husband said it is going to get crazy here with everyone coming here for the eclipse viewing.

Rainy days really are the best. Maybe it is a downer at that moment not getting to head to the pool. But having to stay inside and get creative to have fun is always memorable. So many pillow/blanket forts were made during rainy days at our house!

I’m loving the rain because it makes it so green! I just wish I could control it so it would rain non-stop while I was at work and clear up on the weekends! 😉

Sorry you’ve had rainy days! We’ve been trying to savor those last few days of summer whether at the pool or on the golf course. I’m not quite ready for summer to end but I am ready for fall. On rainy days we enjoy playing in our bounce house in the basement and snuggling on the couch while listening to audiobooks. That is my kids’ new favorite thing – audiobooks! They LOVE to listen while they do chores and when we’re having quiet rest time. They are my new favorite parenting hack! lol

We have been dealing with a ton of rain here, too! Legos are such great rainy day play! I’m actually in the process of making my son a Lego table for his birthday, so he’ll have a designated place to play with them. And P.S. love this sweet little book giveaway. I entered on IG! 🙂

That sounds so fun! I can’t wait to see how the table turns out. Yay! So glad you did!
