Looking for Halloween family activities? Here are some simple ways to connect, grow, and serve as a family as you celebrate Halloween!
Halloween family activities are some of my favorite as the weather starts to get a little cooler and there is the hint of holiday excitement in the air. We love finding simple ways to enjoy every season, in the midst of everyday life. One thing I have learned is that there is so much good that can happen in the simple, every day moments. We love finding ways to add in a little bit of fun in practical ways!

Make Pumpkin Cookies
My grandma would always bring over seasonal sugar cookies. Pumpkins for October, turkeys for November, and stars and trees for December. It was so simple and yet something we looked forward to every month.
Surprise Others
I love finding ways to involve my kids in loving on others. Ashley’s You’ve Been Booed Halloween activity is the perfect way to spread some joy to others.
Share the candy love.
Mix it up as you trick or treat and use a bag from Star Kids Company. The bags are larger for young ones, so consider bringing a regular bucket and then once you return home using the bag to sort through everything. I love that there is a donate pocket (as in donate to mom hahaa!).
Talk about being brave.
The Family Moments Kit is all about being brave this month. There is a great list of simple activities to do as a family to help instill this in your kids. Get your Family Moments Kit.
Go trick or treating.
I love taking our kids trick or treating around our neighborhood because I believe it is the perfect time to get to know our neighbors. This is one of the only times of the year where everyone is out and walking around. You have people coming to your door, so this is the perfect time to be showing God’s love to others.
Decorate pumpkins.
You can carve pumpkins, paint pumpkins, or put stickers on them. The options are endless and this is a great family activity!
