How to make homemade taco seasoning with just six ingredients!
This homemade taco seasoning has become a regular pantry staple in our home. In fact, it has been years since I purchased it. Tacos are a regular on the menu around here, so I love being able to keep this on hand at all times.
How to Make Taco Seasoning
Ingredients
- Cumin
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Onion Power
- Chili Powder
- Paprika
Directions
Step 1: Pour equal parts of every spice into a large bowl.
Often when I am making this, I will do 3 tablespoons of every spice. It does not matter how much you do as long as it is equal parts of all.
Step 2: Mix the spices together well.
Usually, I will mix all of the spices in a mixing bowl that has a spout so it is easier to pour them into the jar.
Step 3: Pour into your spice jar.
I have a mason jar that ours is in. You can use whatever spice jar you use. Make sure to label it.
That’s it! When you are cooking, use the desired amount of seasoning in the recipe.
So easy!
What to use it with?
There are endless recipes you can use it on. We have used it in soups, veggies, grilled meats, baked tacos, crockpot tacos, beef tacos, etc. The options are endless!
