There are so many ways to organize spices and it really all comes down to a couple of things. First, what your space allows for, and second what your preference is.

The first step is to declutter your spices.
Check the expiration dates and toss any that are expired. Do you have spices that you never use? Consider getting rid of those too.
Next, you need to decide if you want to decant them or not.
Not everyone likes to decant items. If that is not your style, then do not do it. Personally, I love the streamlined look of spices in clear containers, so I decant them.
If you decide to decant them, get some containers. I love these containers as they come with pre-designed labels and chalkboard labels that you could use.

Decide where you will store your spices.
There are different options.

- Hanging Organizer
- Tiered Shelves
- A Drawer
As you make your decision, consider your space. Do you have an extra drawer? Or do you have space in a cabinet? Do you have a lot of spices and do you want a hanging organizer?
The key is to pick what works best for you and your family.

Set up your system!
Personally, I decided to go with a drawer for organizing spices. I got some little risers that helped keep them organized. The drawer is right by the stove so it is easily accessible when I am cooking.
