Make it Monday Ideas
Here are a few tips before you get started:
Keep it simple.
As you look for crafts, choose ones that are going to be age appropriate. This means if you have a little one they may be doing something that seems so simple, but trust me they will love it. Check out this Pinterest Board for a great variety of ideas.
Let go of perfect.
The goal is not to create a perfect craft but to have fun. I can tend to be a bit of a control freak (anyone else?) so I have to remind myself to let my kids create in their own unique way.
Messes are okay.
Maybe we should call it Messy Monday?! This day is all about creativity and it is going to be messy. I recently heard a mom say she wished she would have relaxed more during crafts with her kids because now they don’t want to craft. It was a good reminder to me to let go and chill out. Enjoy the time and then clean up after.
