Sharing my October 2023 goals as a form of accountability and encouragement.
This time of the year is always such a full time of the year. Lately, I have been convicted of not always using my time wisely and intentionally. My goal in this corner of the internet is to encourage you to live intentionally. As I think of this, I realize I need the encouragement too.
It is so easy to let the busy moments and stresses of life cloud our days. For the month of October, my main goal is to focus on being intentional with my time.

Recap/Update of September 2023 Goals
I started sharing my goals again last month. Here is a recap and update of them.
Monthly Action Items
- Go through photos on my phone April-August. I made it through April-July!
- Read 1 fiction book and 1 nonfiction. I read 2 fiction books and did not finish a nonfiction yet.
- Create a plan for the baby books. Hooray! I did this! Now to put it into action.
- Plan out photo wall. This is done, I am going to put it into action in January.
- Have one planned family activity. We had sweet moments but nothing out of the ordinary, so this is a top priority in October!
- Make a fall wreath. Yes! This was a highlight of the month.
- Work on kids with their laundry. This is a work in progress!
Weekly Action Items/Rhythms
- Have a weekly family meeting. We did about half and half on this.
- Write one new blog post a week. I did two new posts.
- Prep on Sundays. Yes!
- Read my chapters for book club. Honestly, I got behind.
Daily Habits
- Bible app with kids. We did this about half of the days.
- Pray through my prayer cards. I have found it is essential for me to do this before I sit down to work or I forget.
- Exercise daily. This was about half and half.
- Walk 10,000 steps. Keeping my watch charged is key for this!
- Write in a gratitude journal. I love writing 5 things I am thankful for each month.
- Drink my water. I did pretty good- about half and half.

- Do a family fun activity.
- Set up ManyChat for Instagram.
- Finish the setup of woocommerce shop on the website.
- Finish designing the new advent product.
Weekly Action Items/Rhythms
- Have a weekly family meeting.
- Write one new blog post a week.
- Prep on Sundays.
- Plan Instagram content.
Daily Habits
- Bible app or verse with kids
- Pray through my prayer cards.
- Exercise daily.
- Walk 10,000 steps.
- Write in a gratitude journal.
- Drink my water (refill 2-3 times)
