The printable Thanksgiving Day Planner will help you stay organized as you prepare for the big day.
As I was working on preparing for Thanksgiving Day dinner, I realized I had notes everywhere. I decided it was time to consolidate things. I love using my Holiday Planner as it helps me to stay organized and everything is in one place and realized it was time to add in a Thanksgiving Day Planner.

Thanksgiving Day Planner
The Thanksgiving Day Planner includes the following printables:
- A preparation checklist
- Meal Planner
- Shopping List
- Cooking Schedule
How to Use the Planner
Print off the planner and put it on a clipboard, in a binder, or staple it together. Take some time to plan out your meal for the day.
Then put together a list of the items needed on the shopping list.
After that, you can check in with the checklist on a timeframe and start to plan out a cooking schedule.
As with all holidays, I think it is important to let go of expectations when it comes to the big day. Often, we can let our expectations create unrealistic and perfect visions of what the day will look like. Then when things do not go as planned, we get frustrated and disappointed.
You may burn one of the dishes. One of the dishes may not turn out as you expect. Someone may get sick. There may be family tension. There are a million different things that could happen.
The point of gathering is not to achieve perfection but to enjoy time together. Life is messy and people are imperfect. Start preparing your heart and mind now to embrace the day with the messes.
