Spring At Home Activities
Play with sidewalk chalk.
We have loved playing with chalk this spring. You can try the activity where you use masking tape to create patterns to color as well.
Take a walk.
Taking a family walk is a simple activity and yet such a beautiful activity. It gets you moving and you are together as a family.
Egg Hunt
Fill up Easter eggs and have an egg hunt in your backyard. This is such a fun and traditional spring activity. If you want to do additional egg hunts, try putting letters in the eggs too in order to practice letter recognition.

Bird Watching
Spring is a great time to be looking for birds. Encourage your kids to keep track of the birds they see. Look up what the birds are if you do not know. You could even have your kids start a journal where they keep track of the birds they see.
Movie Night
A family movie night is a must for every season! Have some popcorn and watch a movie together!
Decorate Eggs
Decorating Easter eggs is always a lot of fun. Grab your kit and some eggs and you are ready!
Resurrection Garden
As we lead up to Easter, it is the perfect time to make a resurrection garden using items from your own backyard.

Scavenger Hunt
Head out to your yard for a fun springtime scavenger hunt! We have a great free printable here.

Resurrection Rolls
We love making these as we prep for Easter. It is such a great way to talk about Jesus and the cross. See the directions here.

Acts of Kindness
What is one kind thing you can do? Offer to pick up something for a neighbor, send flowers to someone, etc.
DIY Bubbles
Create bubbles with this simple recipe. This is a ton of fun to do on a spring day. See the details for this here.

Picnic in Yard
Bring lunch or dinner out into the yard and have a picnic.
Watch the Sunset
If you are up, you can watch the sunrise but the sunset is just as beautiful!
Plant a Garden or Flowers
You can either plant a whole garden or do a container garden. Or even plant some flowers! This is always a favorite!
