Take a Trip Tuesday Ideas
Here are a few tips before you get started:
Think mini trip over elaborate.
These trips can last an hour, half a day, or the whole day but they are simple. A trip could be to get donuts or a walk to the park. The point is to get out of the house and have some fun not to create elaborate outings.
Take a little time to prep.
A little preparation can go a long way. The night before your trip day, take some time to prepare. Make sure you have cash if needed, pack some snacks and/or lunch, have waters, sunscreen etc. Preparing the night ahead helps reduce the stress the day of!
Embrace the outing and take pictures!
Your child is most likely going to have a moment or something will seem a little crazy during your outing. It is helpful just to prepare mentally for those moments. Then when they happen, it is a tad easier to move right on through them. Along with this, make sure to take some pictures! Embrace the imperfections and have fun!
