Join me for another week of the Small Things.
The Small Things this week includes a lot of Christmas talk plus some nature talk. Fridays are the perfect time to chat about the small things of life. These are little things I would share with you over coffee or text a friend in excitement.

The Small Things Week 5
Christmas Tree
If you follow along with me on Instagram, you know my hunt for a Christmas tree has been going strong for a couple of weeks. Living in South Carolina, we wait for the trees to be delivered from North Carolina. On Wednesday, we saw the truck arrive at Lowe’s and we were so excited to get the tree! There is something so beautiful about a tree and the smell of the fresh tree always brings nostalgia.
Nature Hike
Yesterday was our monthly nature hike with a group of friends. These little hikes are always so much fun. We went to the Francis Beidler Forest, which I highly recommend. After a hike, we always love drawing in our nature journals. These were so cheap and have been a favorite.
Countdown to Christmas
We are very excited to make the Christmas season filled with intentional moments. This week, I shared 6 different ideas for counting down to Christmas. We usually mix in a blend of these.

Little Touches of Christmas
Adding in little touches of Christmas has been a goal of mine this year. With preparing to move, we still have decorated but not as much as usual. Adding in a Christmas rug or pillow on the bench out front has added so much joy. Check out this cute pillow cover and rug!
What are some small things from your week that have brought some joy or made you smile?
It’s great that you are able to get away for a monthly hike with your friends. Also, your Christmas tree looks great!
Thank you so much Alanna!
