Christmas Lights
One of our favorite family activities to do this time of the year is to look at Christmas lights! It is a fun activity that is mostly free. Check out the free printable to use for this!
Eco Gloves
I was sent these gloves to try out and I was impressed with them! I even had an opportunity to use them as my dog was sick one day. Eco Gloves are a great option for cleaning up messes. It would be great to have a stash of them on hand in your cleaning supplies! I especially love that they are compostable gloves so you are not adding to waste. Learn more about Eco Gloves. You can purchase them on Amazon!
New Year’s Eve Family Fun
Having a little family New Year’s Eve party is on the agenda for this year. This year we are using our countdown bags and some other fun activities! You can get the New Year’s Eve Family Packet for just $5 and be prepared for a night of fun.
Moving
This year Christmas has looked different on many levels. On a personal level, we are in the middle of moving so it definitely has felt a little different. While I miss our normal decor, I have enjoyed the simplicity of a tree. It really has helped me to remember the reason for celebrating.
Kid’s Activity Box
I was sent a kid’s activity box from Green Craft Kits recently. The box was filled with different STEM activities all focused on the ocean. My kids loved doing the activities! It was a great addition to our school day and I loved that it got them creating and thinking. This box would be a great meaningful gift if you need a last-minute gift idea!
Preparing for 2021
As we get closer to 2021, I have become eager to set goals. I always love a fresh start. After 2020, I think we are all ready for a fresh start. However, the reality is that there will be struggles in 2021, but we can choose to be intentional, even in that. The Cultivate an Intentional Year guide has been updated and is currently on sale in the shop! Check it out and get ready for the new year!
That is all for the Small Things this week. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Remember, to look for the good in the ordinary moments of life!
