Looking for budget-friendly fall decorations? Check out these great ideas!
Budget-friendly fall decorations are something I always keep an eye out for. With seasonal decorations, I like to keep things simple and frugal. I love adding in touches of the season, and my kids always love it too, but I want to keep things cost-effective. Today, I am going to share some simple tips to add beauty to your home for the fall season without spending a ton of money.
Budget-Friendly Fall Decorations
Use dried flowers from your yard.
I love how the Nester shares about adding in touches of fall from your yard. There are so many options right in our backyards. This year I have some dried hydrangeas and they are one of my favorite decor pieces.
Take a walk around your yard and look for what you could use.
Use free printables to change out pictures to match the season.
I love touching on different seasons by changing what is in pictures. There are so many free prints or low-cost prints to use! In the photo above you can see one from The Quick Journey.
Add in smaller fake pumpkins.
A lot of stores sell little fake pumpkins for less than a dollar. These are a great way to add some touches of fall to your home!
Slowly build up your fall decor.
Yes, you can go out and spend a lot but you can also slowly build up your fall decor stash. I have a bin that holds our fall decorations. It has slowly grown over the years as I add a little more each year.
Use pillow covers.
I recently realized how seasonal pillow covers are genius! We have two rocking chairs on our porch and each has a pillow. I love being able to switch out the look of them by simply changing the pillow cover!
Add items in stages.
Instead of doing the mantle, centerpiece, porch, etc all in one decor sweep, consider adding in touches of fall throughout the season. I still want to do a fall centerpiece and add more touches of fall to the porch, but it takes time and money. I am going to add in a little every few weeks.

So many budget friendly ideas! I love the idea of using materials from your own backyard. I need to get outside and see what I can bring in and display in some vases.
Great budget-friendly ideas, Keri! My favorite one you shared is working on one space of your home at a time and adding pieces slowly to save money. Genius!
