Make your spring cleaning routine easier with the 30-day spring cleaning challenge and printable checklist!
Ready for a spring cleaning challenge? Full confession, since becoming a mom almost 13 years ago, spring cleaning usually does not happen. I can clearly recall multiple times where I start it but fizzle out. It is hard to find the time to do the laundry let alone deep cleaning, right?!
Well, I understand and I am going to challenge both you and me with this: what if we did the spring cleaning together? A little accountability always helps make things easier!
Introducing…
The Spring Cleaning Challenge
This challenge is being led by myself and Jaclyn from Coffee, Pancakes, and Dreams.
We want to make it easy and fun to tackle these spring chores! First, we have a daily checklist so that you know exactly what you need to get done each day. Just one task each day for 30 days. The challenge kicks off March 21st, 2022!
The challenge is simple and perfect for us busy moms. We can get this done! Remember, to grab your free printable spring cleaning checklist!

4 Tips to Get Started with Spring Cleaning
Make a plan.
Our challenge starts on March 21st, but you can start whenever. I have found that putting it in the calendar, helps it to actually happen! This also helps you to see what is going on in your life. Spring cleaning will not happen if you are out of town. While we will never have a wide-open day to spring clean, you want to be wise about the time you choose to clean.
Gather up the supplies.
I love using Grove Collaborative for my cleaning needs. You can see my favorites here. Supplies you will want to have on hand:
- Glass Cleaner
- Bathroom Cleaner
- Toilet Bowl Cleaner
- Duster
- Rags
- All-Purpose Cleaner
You can also make your own cleaning supplies.
Enlist help.
This is a great time to involve your kids in the cleaning process. Kids can handle simple tasks and chores. Make it a family event!
Celebrate your work!
I have found it to be so helpful to celebrate your hard work! This is especially good if you are involving your kids. Go out for ice cream, have a special outing or treat! While this is not necessary, it gives a sweet reward to your work!
