4 Tips to Get Started with Spring Cleaning
Make a plan.
Our challenge starts on March 13th, but you can start whenever. I have found that putting it in the calendar, helps it to actually happen! This also helps you to see what is going on in your life. Spring cleaning will not happen if you are out of town. While we will never have a wide-open day to spring clean, you want to be wise about the time you choose to clean.
Gather up the supplies.
Supplies you will want to have on hand:
- Glass Cleaner
- Bathroom Cleaner
- Toilet Bowl Cleaner
- All-Purpose Cleaner
- Magic Erasers
- Blind Cleaner
You can also make your own cleaning supplies.
This is a great time to involve your kids in the cleaning process. Kids can handle simple tasks and chores. Make it a family event!
Celebrate your work!
I have found it to be so helpful to celebrate your hard work! This is especially good if you are involving your kids. Go out for ice cream, and have a special outing or treat! While this is not necessary, it gives a sweet reward for your work!
